Ways to Join the TRHAA
Thank you for your interest in the TRHAA!
The Ted Rogers Hospitality and Alumni Association is comprised of alumni members from the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management that are committed to organizing events and promoting TRHAA’s long-term initiatives. They remain the foundation of the association and never forget the overall goal of strengthening the relationship between current students and experienced industry professionals.
Supporting the TRHAA can be as simple as volunteering at events or becoming a representative for your alumni year. Send us an email to learn how you can get involved.
The TRHAA is one of the most active alumni associations in TRSM. The success of our association is due to our committees and its members. Each committee meets three to four times a year. We also have a full advisory council three times a year and that meeting is open to all committee members.
The TRHAA is composed of an executive committee and three subcommittees:

The role of this committee is to share the different events and activities that relate to our alumni.
We are active on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. We highly encourage you to follow us on our social media platforms to stay updated for job opportunities and events.
Each member sits on campaign specific subcommittees. These smaller working groups curate the content for each initiative. This role is vital for sharing TRHAA and HTM news and events throughout the year.

This committee does outreach events to connect with students.
Alumni have:
- spoken to first year students about career paths
- assisted in interviewing or networking workshops
- facilitated coffee chats
We support the initiatives of the Hospitality and Tourism Students' Society (HTSS) and HTMentoring by providing speakers, moderators and/or attend their events. It is a great way to meet and support students in our program.

The TRHAA’s largest fundraiser of the year is the annual golf tournament, now in its 25th year.
The TRHAA has made the decision to postpone our annual golf tournament in May 2022. We want to ensure everyone is able to comfortably enjoy the day and all events that make this tournament special. We look forward to seeing you at our 25th anniversary golf tournament next year.
The Golf Committee’s role is to secure event and hole sponsorships, and silent auction donations for the tournament.
