Hospitality and Tourism Student Society (HTSS) hosted their very first Cruise Night, for all students, alumni, and faculty of the HTM Program!
The Tourism Demand, Supply and Distribution class in collaboration with HTMentoring and the TRHAA held an exclusive event for 1st year students. Alumni spoke about their career choices and paths. They talked about their academic experience and shared with students insights on courses and experiential learning.
The first inaugural 200 coffee chats took place on Monday, October 7th 2019. To help give our soon to be graduates a head start, the TRHAA has partnered with the HTH901 Advanced Career strategies course to introduce the 200 Coffee Challenge.
Alumni came to campus and conducted 10 speed coffees in 2 hours. 200 Coffees was a fantastic experience, as students met up with industry professionals and Alumni. Some who of the Alumni who attended include Shawn Kim (Nestle), Carla Maya (Fairmont Royal York), Emma Marescotti (Marriott), Jessica Dexter (SPIN Toronto), James Tjan (Mindful Snacks).

This full-day event was full of amazing guest speakers, events, and activities that connected students and industry professionals.
